An Untitled Novel

Hi again, I wanted to do another quick schedule update on what I’ve been working on. Life has still been busy, but I’m mostly getting settled in. My new job gives me less time to work on drafting/proofreading, but I’m still plodding along and making progress. My original plan was to have chapters 63 through 69 (nice) on the site by the end of summer 2025; they’re the (probably a bit more boring) character and world building chapters that sit between part 1 and the different converging story lines in part 2. Once those are out, since there’s a bunch of intersecting plots, I’d need to get the rest fully drafted and the chapters ordered before I start sharing those too.

I’ve got one more ‘character talks to another character’ type chapter, then things finally get going - expect that one soonish. After that, I’m probably 50-75% of the way through drafting part 2, and it’ll just be a matter of getting everything in order before I start sharing those chapters as well. Expect part 2, or at least a decent chunk of it, to be published here during 2026.

Also, as a quick side note to look forward to, most of part two will exist within a single year - starting with a late springtime snow on Earth and ending with fall leaves. Unlike part 1, which had some pretty big time jumps, a lot of things are going to happen at once - hence me needing to make sure chapters are in the right order and events line up.
