An Untitled Novel

A quick update on my attempted adaptation of the novel into the comic, doesn’t look like there’s any real interest in me doing so. Going forward, I think the plan will be to adapt a few of my favorite chapters and provide them for free.

Again, this is a hobby; even if there’s zero interest from readers, I still had fun adapting the novel’s content into a visual medium. Just like the novel started out, I enjoy writing it, so even if I had zero readers I’d still continue. The comic version is a bit different, requiring both some costs and a lot of time that writing text doesn’t entail, so if there’s no interest in a visual novel version I’ll just do some one offs without any big commitments. Doing the occasional chapter not only means I have no commitments in doing anything timely, but it also means that I can possibly even get by on some free plans for the various AIs I used to assist me - or otherwise just spend way less with a lot less commitments.

And again, I don’t want this to come across as complaining or guilt tripping. This is a hobby, and I didn’t even expect many readers - the fact that I have what looks like over a thousand readers on the clearnet and a non-insubstantial amount of readers on the ‘dark net’ (potentially more than the clearnet), as well as the nice comments I’ve received is awesome.

Expect at least one, probably two, chapters of Act 2 by the end of June.
